If you need new inspiration for your next project, this is the class for you! During this class you will learn several different rulers and/or techniques (10-12) to complete fun and inspirational quilts. Most of these quilts look very complicated but they really aren’t and can be completed in a weekend. Have you been afraid to make a quilt with lots of curves? Fear no more because in this class, you’ll learn how to sew curves without pinning or clipping!
Students will leave this class with a new understanding of how to use multiple rulers and techniques through in-depth demonstrations and a trunk show. Come join instructor Lori Clayton for an eye-opening experience!
A note from Lori...
Hello quilters and Friends, come join me in learning some great techniques and rulers. I’ll be teaching you some quilting quickies to complete those weekend quilts that look like you worked on them for months. I will be demonstrating several rulers, patterns, quilts and techniques that will inspire even the most advanced quilters but can be completed by beginners. If you ever wanted to finish a pineapple quilt in a day or work on curves without pinning or clipping and much more this class is for you. I have had several guilds call and ask me to teach this class multiple times because of the amount of detailed visual instruction followed by quilts completed with the instructed process. Door prizes will be awarded during class. Don’t miss out on adding more quilting knowledge to your tool chest.
Lori started sewing with her mother at age 7. She discovered her love for quilting in the early 1980’s. After retiring from the Navy as a Nurse, she focused more of her time on quilting and opened a quilt shop and retreat in 2009. Paper piecing soon became a large part of her shop. In 2014 Lori’s shop completed training to become a certified shop. Since then she has taught multiple Quiltworx classes including most of the Techniques of the Months. Lori’s love of Quiltworx patterns and being a part of the Quiltworx team, as a CI, has given her the opportunity to offer retreats in a laid-back country setting. She also has several classes a year at Threads Run Thru It quilt shop.
