This holiday-themed 33" x 51" floor canvas is modern take on a home decor textile of yesteryear and features a raw edge appliqué technique. The whimsical designs are based on classic HandBEHG fiber projects and holiday themes.
It never fails...commercial rugs from the big box stores are rarely ever the right size or the perfect color AND they fall apart after a few washings. This is a durable washable solution to that conundrum and provides a fix for that creative sewing and quilting scratch you need to itch. That's right!! This is a quilt for the FLOOR!
Make it quick! The entire project comes together in an evening or on a weekend afternoon and can be pieced together and quilted on your domestic machine.
This class is for all skill levels - beginner to advanced.
Sewing Machines for this class will be provided by Chestnut Ridge Sewing.

Tami is a mid-westerner at heart from St. Louis, Missouri who has recently transplanted to Columbus, Ohio. In addition to a professional career in design/print and web-based technology, she has three grown children and a Boston Terrier sidekick.
She is a self-proclaimed dabbler in many creative things and an expert at nothing much. Tami is a Dreamer, a Designer, a Wool Fiber Artist, a Quilter, an Occasional Garment Sewer, and an Unapologetic Fabric Junkie. She thrives on the visually unexpected and loves to ignite a spark in the creative imagination of others.
Tami is a member of the Modern Quilt Guild with work published in numerous magazines including Quilting Arts Gifts, Simply Moderne, International Quilt Festival Quilt Scene, American Quilter and American Quilt Retailer. She also had the privilege of making a few appearances on the The Quilt Show with Alex Anderson & Ricky Tims.
BEHG Designs is Tami's creative alliance with Premier Prints Inc., a small family owned company out of Sherman, Mississippi that designs and prints all of their fabrics in the USA!! With roots in home-dec., many of the fabric selections are also suitable for quilts, beach and outdoor blankets, apparel, totes and DIY home goods.
