About Felice...
With a love of color Felice celebrates life!
Fabric has always been a part of Felice's life. She grew up with a grandmother and mother who sewed clothing and could put together an outfit in not time at all, and a father in the textile business in Manhattan. After thirty-two years as a high school art teacher, Felice retired and moved into a new artistic path - learning and creating fiber art. Felted wool combined with cotton fabrics and embroidery stitches are her chosen materials and she loves sharing her process with others. Nature is Felice's main inspiration, but she has also recently ventured into abstract pieces.
Felice teaches both regionally and nationally and will be teaching at the 2023 International Quilt Festival in Houston. She has had works exhibited and has won awards at a variety of regional shows, the International Quilt Festival in Houston, the Mid-Atlantic Quilt Festival, the Vermont Quilt Festival, and the AQS Grand Rapids Show.
